Dive Center Dive Friends has 7 locations spread across the island, with Delfins Beach being the closest to our resort, just a 2-minute drive away. Dive Friends not only offers several dive shops for renting and purchasing diving equipment but also provides professional PADI diving courses and fantastic dive trips in the Caribbean Sea. The experienced team ensures the best possible training and creates a safe and relaxed atmosphere. Already certified and want to make a special dive under the guidance of one of our instructors? That’s of course possible as well. You’ll be amazed by the sheer number of colorful fish you’ll encounter.

Why would you want to get your diving certification? The PADI Open Water Diver certification is the first step and proves that you are able to dive safely. For example, you’ll need this certification if you want to rent equipment or have a dive tank filled while on vacation. Keep in mind that you’re never allowed to dive alone — you must always dive with a buddy. If both you and your buddy have this first certification, you are permitted to dive together without professional supervision to a depth of 18 meters. The PADI Open Water Diver certification is recognized worldwide. Discover Bonaire’s fascinating underwater world together with the Dive Friends team!

85 official dive and snorkel sites

The calm and clear waters makes Bonaire an ideal diving destination. With over 85 dive sites to choose from, you could easily spend all your time on Bonaire in the water. There, you’ll find tropical reefs exploding with color from more than 57 species of coral and more than 350 species of fish. You can even reach most dive sites directly from the shoreline. Just look for the names of the dive sites marked on the yellow stones by the shore road. Located in the Northwest of Bonaire, Slagbaai National Park has a beautiful scenic route with several excellent dive & snorkel spots. Of course, before you dive, remember to buy your Nature Tag.
